Each week, we will learn drawing basics in detailed steps for creating animals, characters, or scenes from start to finish. Each week's styles will be inspired by a blend of quirky American, Japanese, and your student's character style.

I intend to help children form patience, kindness, self-management, self-empowerment,  and concentration. I want to create a safe place for them to grow and share. I have a passion for helping children find their sense of calm and help ground themselves. 

I have several years of experience with teaching in Coops, homeschool, and private tutoring.  My teaching philosophy is that all students are individuals and unique learners that must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. 

I have 20+ years of tutoring and teaching in a variety of different classes and courses.  I have an educational background in psychology, art, history, and language. I am TESOL certified.  I am an accredited member of the National Tutoring Association.  I am a yoga instructor and member of the Yoga Alliance Association with extensive experience as a mindfulness practitioner through meditation, art, and holistic wellness.
