Compassion-Based Resilience Training (CBRT) by Nalanda Institute

Nalanda Institute’s Compassion-Based Resilience Training (CBRT) is a complete, evidence-based method of training the resilience of mind, heart, and body we need to sustain lives of well-being, engagement and purpose in our interdependent world. It was developed and tested at the university hospitals of Columbia and Cornell, where it has been offered continuously since 1998.

This training consists of eight modules that introduce and teach mindfulness, insight, compassion, imagery, and breath-energy work. They are taught over the course of 9 weeks (with an additional module at the midpoint to bridge the mindfulness and compassion teachings). Each session will be taught by Rahshaana and will include two guided meditation, group discussion, an explanation of the concepts and techniques, and Q&A. This course (and your learning) is supplemented by a manual, workbook, recorded guided meditations, breathwork videos, scientific articles, and additional resources.
